New Xbox games will be limited to one console. Used games will require a payment in order to install or even work.
On the one side, giving a game to your friend and paying a LOWER fee to install it and not need the disc might be nice. On the other hand…
It doesn’t even allude to the fact that it might only be ONE ACCOUNT which may mean, if you buy a game and your brother wants to play it on his account, he might even have to pay or not be able to play at all.
This is only a little horribad.
Hopefully this won’t become the new default system developers and companies use to make profits because if they do it will hopefully backfire horribly.
Honestly though at this point why /not/ just get a steambox, or a moderately powerful computer?
Unless the price-point for games and the console itself is incredibly low none of this makes sense except as a major marketing campaign for Windows 8.
